College plays host to sixth annual Diversity Summit on April 6
Molly Secours, a writer and filmmaker, will deliver the keynote address at Marietta College’s sixth annual Diversity Summit on Saturday, April 6.
Secours, who has used her artistic talents to effect social change and public policy regarding inequities in health care, education and criminal justice, will lecture on “Tip Toeing Around Diversity,” at noon in the Trustee Conference Room of the Dyson Baudo Recreation Center.

This year Marietta College’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion, led by
Derreck Kayongo, a former child refugee who now serves as the senior advocacy coordinator in the Southeast for the CARE International relief organization, will deliver a keynote address as part of Marietta College’s recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 21.
