The Frederica G. Esbenshade Series at Marietta College has brought the Mid-Ohio Valley inspiring and engaging entertainment for 35 years.
With only 21 days remaining in the academic year, there are no clear signs that things are slowing down on campus.
The busy week kicks off with the Social Justice Speaker Series and Empowering LGBT Youth Through Advocacy at 4 p.m. in the Andrews Hall Great Room, and wraps up with a big weekend that includes Community Service Day, Community Baseball Day and the Theta Phi Alpha Silent Auction on Saturday.
Marietta College’s Department of Music is gearing up for its spring concert season, which begins with a Jazz Concert on Tuesday, April 14.
Under the direction of Marshall Kimball, Director of Bands, the Jazz Ensemble will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. in the Alma McDonough Auditorium. Joining them will be FloodStage, a group of jazz singers, who are under the direction of Dr. Daniel Monek, Professor of Music.
