Marietta group gains enhanced learning experience in Asian culture

asian-tripMarietta College’s Asian Studies Program recently took 31 students and faculty in the Chinese language and visual culture classes on a trip to the Cleveland Museum of Art and the Cleveland Botanical Garden.
In the museum, the students and faculty visited the special exhibition “Chinese Art in an Age of Revolution,” featuring the extraordinary works of art by the major modern Chinese master Fu Baoshi (1904-1965).

Alumni, faculty participating in environmental career panel on Nov. 17

environmental-panelWith career options in the field of environmental sustainability gaining traction nationally, Marietta College has organized a panel of faculty, alumni and community members to discuss job opportunities that may exist in the future.
“Environment Do What?” runs from 5-6 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 17, in Rickey 166, and is co-sponsored by the Career Center and the Energy & Environment steering committee.
