Marietta College assistant professor Bill Bauer has once again organized a semester's worth of education leaders that will speak once a week this fall.

Dr. Bauer's course -- Education 600: The Pioneer Seminar -- meets from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and it will have prominent speakers in the area of Educational Leadership. The first class is Aug. 24.

Debbie Lazorik, Marietta College's Director of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation, is making a presentation on how to successfully fund and construct a recreation center on a small college campus at the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics Facilities Workshop in Las Vegas on Nov. 15.

The workshop opens on Nov. 13 at the Flamingo in Las Vegas.

Once again the Ohio Department of Mental Health has expressed its confidence in the Psychology Department at Marietta College.
