dye-aleeceAleece Dye ’11, who has worked the past two years as Marietta College’s Publications Coordinator, was promoted to Assistant Director of Chapter and Young Alumni Programs.

She started her new duties on May 28.

“I am very excited to join the Alumni Relations Office and serve Marietta College in a new capacity as Assistant Director,” said Dye, who earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. “I am especially looking forward to the work I will be doing to help current students, alumni, friends, and parents connect to the College through Regional Associations and Young Alumni Programming"

Dye replaces Sarah Kelly, who left the College in February.

Ann Nicely ’03, Associate Director of Alumni Events, is working with Dye to build effective and sustainable chapters that they hope will engage alumni and provide them with an outlet to stay connected to the College and also provide more opportunities for young alumni to remain connected to the College after graduation.

“We are very excited to have Aleece on board with our team in Alumni Relations. She is a great fit and brings many talents and ideas in order to excel in the position,” Nicely said. “I am really looking forward to her expanding the Regional Association initiative and continuing to grow the Young Pioneer Network on campus and with our younger alumni.”

Dye is a graduate of Fort Frye High School and currently lives in Beverly, Ohio, with her husband Nicholas and two dogs, Patrick and Penelope.
