Legacy Library hosting Virtual Foreign Film Festival

legacy-filmsThe staff at Legacy Library were looking for a way to join in the fun of Marietta College's academic theme of Internationalization: Global Perspectives, and they have come up with a great idea.

You can get another stamp in your MC Passport by watching a movie during the Legacy Library's Virtual Foreign Film Festival.

During the month of November, watch a foreign film checked out from the Legacy Library's Media Collection. They have more than 150 movies on DVD and VHS from Spain, France, China, Japan, and many other countries. Essentially all have sub-titles, so you don't need to understand the language to enjoy the film. After checking out the movie, you may take it to your apartment to watch it, or just go upstairs in Legacy Library to one of our media/group rooms. If you do it with a group of friends, all of you can get the Passport stamp.

Submit a plot summary/review using the provided Review Form. Download and print it or pick up a printed copy at the Legacy Library Reference Desk.

Return your completed Review Form to the Legacy Library Reference Desk and have your MC Passport stamped by a Reference Department staff member.

The last day to turn in the form and have your MC Passport stamped after Thanksgiving break is Tuesday, Dec. 3.
