College hires 2012 graduate to fill Admission Counselor vacancy

leonard-rebaReba Leonard ’12, who was active in athletics, recreation and as a student leader during her time as an undergraduate, has been hired as an Admission Counselor at Marietta College.

“I look forward to sharing all that Marietta has to offer with high school students and their families,” Leonard said. “Although I realize that Marietta College may not be the perfect fit for everyone, I want the chance to share the many great aspects of Marietta with as many people as I can, and to help high school students go to college.”

Leonard comes to Marietta from Brookville, Ohio. She earned four varsity letters while running for Marietta’s cross country team, and also served as a rock wall supervisor for three years in the Dyson Baudo Recreation Center. She also worked as a Resident Assistant for three years.

Leonard earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science in 2012 from Marietta. She considers attending Marietta College as one of the best decisions of her life.

“Throughout the four years I attended, I learned so much about myself as well as the world around me. Through the College’s liberal arts education and great coaches, professors and mentors I was able to grow and flourish as an individual,” she said. “I have gained valuable knowledge, had wonderful experiences, and formed lasting relationships that will last a lifetime and help me to be a valuable member of society.”

Leonard is living in Marietta and enjoys exploring the region by walking, running, hiking and camping.
