Marietta College hires 2010 graduate to be Publications Coordinator

tori-taylorTori Taylor ’10, who worked a couple of jobs on campus as a student at Marietta College, recently joined her alma mater as the Publications Coordinator/Graphic Designer.

Taylor, who started on July 15, is part of the Office of College Relations, which is Marietta’s marketing and public relations center. Taylor worked for the Office of Student Life and College Relations while earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.

“I’m very excited to return to campus and join the team in the Office of College Relations,” Taylor said. “It’s nice to see familiar faces as I take on my new roles and responsibilities as the Publications Coordinator.”

Her responsibilities include coordinating all campus print jobs with the on-campus Director of Creative Services, in-house print shop and off-campus printers. She also works closely with on-campus partners to update them on the progress of projects.

After graduating in 2010, Tori worked as a graphic designer with a local newspaper and for New Creations Digital Art Studio.

“Tori has the perfect background to succeed in this position. Her previous experience in College Relations as a student helped her adjust quickly to the demands of the job. Her experience in Student Life has provided her with the necessary customer service skills to make her successful,” said Tom Perry, Executive Director of College Relations. “We are excited she chose to join the College and she is already making a positive impact on our production of publications and other jobs.”

While not working, Tori enjoys working out, spending time with her family and friends and outdoor activities. She lives in New Matamoras, Ohio.
