One man can make a huge difference in the lives of so many people.
This week, Marietta College mourns the loss of one of those very special people. William H. “Bill” Thompson Jr. ’57 passed away Tuesday, Jan. 25, at the age of 78. He was born Aug. 9, 1932.
Paul Dudenas, an executive with Shell Appalachia, is presenting “Challenges and Opportunities in Developing the Marcellus Shale,” at 1 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 27, at Marietta College.
Dudenas, Manager of the Marcellus Shale Field Development Planning Studies Team for Shell Appalachia, is speaking in the Alma McDonough Auditorium. His talk is free and open to the public.
Marietta College’s Dave Hood ’11 (Cincinnati, Ohio), Andrew Kasick ’13 (Marietta, Ohio) and Sydney Maltese ’14 (Massillon, Ohio) each won two awards in the Butler University Forensics Tournament on Jan. 21-22.
