Tiesha Anderson ’14 (Germantown, Md.) was expecting another run-of-the-mill conference when she joined 14 other Marietta College students for the Clinton Global Initiative in Washington, D.C.
It didn’t take long for her to alter her initial predisposition.

Five Marietta College seniors recently presented their capstone research projects at the semi-annual gathering of members of the Ohio-region Section of the American Physical Society.
Conducted at The Ohio State University, this year’s theme for the conference was biophysics. Each year, Marietta’s Department of Physics encourages its majors to attend in order to provide exposure to a variety of topics related to physics.
Over seven days in April and May, Marietta College will be offering three new shows at the Anderson Hancock Planetarium.
It all starts with a “Bonus” program called Dynamic Earth at 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 24. Dynamic Earth will also be shown at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, April 29 and 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 1. Reservations are currently being taken for this program.
