Marietta College’s Theatre Department concludes its 2012-13 season with a double-bill of one-act plays that transcend time and space and begin on Thursday, April 4.
Robert Rubin, Secretary of the Treasury during President Clinton’s administration, is the final speaker for the 2012-13 Economic Roundtable of the Ohio Valley speaker series.
Rubin will meet with the organization at noon, Wednesday, April 10, at the Parkersburg Country Club in Vienna, W.Va. His talk is titled “Challenges for the U.S. and Global Economies.”
Andrew Richmond, noted American furniture specialist at Garth’s Auctions in Delaware, Ohio, is presenting at Marietta College’s “History of Interesting Things” series at 4 p.m., Monday, March 25.
Richmond, Vice President and Certified Appraiser at Garth’s, will talk about “Elegance and Gentility in Early Ohio,” in Thomas 320. The event is free and open to the public.
