Marietta News stories focusing on the achievements and accomplishments of our Alumni.
When Brooke Exley ’11 was an undergraduate at Marietta College, she had no idea that The Marietta Fund existed.
Like the majority of students at Marietta, Brooke’s schedule kept her very busy. In addition to rowing for the Women’s Crew and keeping up with her studies in Human Resource Management, she managed her time enough during her final year to become involved in the Senior Challenge program and something just clicked.
She not only made a donation to the Senior Challenge in 2011, but she has continued to give each year to The Marietta Fund.
Like anyone who has been away from campus for a few years, Jason Gromelski ’98 was somewhat caught off guard when he realized it has been 15 years since he graduated from Marietta College.
Busy with work and family, Gromelski hasn’t been able to make it back to campus much and he wasn’t able to join his former classmates during their reunion at Homecoming in October.
To make sure his Marietta friends knew he was thinking about them as they celebrated their 15-year reunion, he made a class challenge to support The Marietta Fund.
