Howard D. Korn, Chief of Campus Police at Marietta College, recently received the Achievement Award from Nine Lives Associates, a worldwide, 2,600-member professional association of certified personal protection specialists who have graduated from the Executive Protection Institute in Berryville, Va.
Korn has been a certified personal protection specialist and member of the association since 2002.
David Story '01 has many stories he could tell about his international experiences.
He was able to talk about a few of those recently to Dr. Michael Taylor's international marketing class. Story's talk mainly focused on the friendships he developed with Chinese students who were attending Marietta College. He believes those relationships are what sparked his future interest in China.
Marietta College's Board of Trustees are pleased to announce that 10 professors received tenure and eight were promoted from assistant professors to associate professors.
