College officials see great opportunities by renovating Fayerweather

Marietta College President Jean Scott says alumni have asked her since the day she arrived on campus what the College was going to do about Fayerweather Hall.

Now she can give them an answer.

During an official groundbreaking ceremony on a cool Thursday (Dec. 16) morning, Scott told a small group that the College is spending $4 million to renovate the dormitory.

MC appoints new disabilities specialist in Academic Resource Center

Mary Bea Eaton, who has more than 20 years of experience working with people with disabilities, was recently named the disabilities specialist in Marietta College’s Academic Resource Center.

“I am thrilled to have Mary Bea join the Academic Resource Center,” said Debra Higgins, Director of the ARC. “We are fortunate to find someone with her experience and background and I believe the MC community will benefit.”
