Forensics program starts spring semester off right

Marietta College’s Forensics team wasted no time getting back into the swing of things after a month-long break by winning a combined 10 awards at two separate tournaments.
 
The junior varsity team competed at the Ohio Forensic Association State Novice Championship Tournament on Jan. 29-30 in Athens, Ohio, while the varsity team competed in Athens that same weekend at the Ohio University Appalachian Swing Tournament.

Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition opens Feb. 27 with reception

art showMarietta College’s Art Department is proud to present the Annual Juried Student Art Exhibition, which features the work of Art and Graphic Design students.
 
The show, which opens Feb. 27, will be held in the Third Floor Gallery of the Hermann Fine Arts Center. The exhibition will run through March 20. An opening reception will be held from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 27.
